If you love food like I do, there are culinary travel tours to meet everyone palate tastebud. I try to try as many of the traditional cultural foods when i travel to another country, it is quite the experience. 

In Peru, my dad's home country, I always have the Lomo Saltado, which is a seasoned sliced steak with cooked tomatoes, marinated purple onions, cilantro, peas, and topped off with french fries. The Chi Cha Morada is a drink made from purple corn, it is so refreshing. If you like alcohol, the traditional iconic drink of Peru and Chile is a Pisco Sour.

In Bali, I had the Nasi Goreng, which is meat rice and vegetables with their special seasonings. 

Puerto Rico, their traditional dish is Mofongo. I could go on, but you get the picture. I travel for fun and the food.
